October Newsletter
October Newsletter 2022
Dear Parents/ Guardians,
These past few weeks have flown by so quickly. We have had an extremely busy start to our school year, but we are all grateful to have been able to participate in so many learning experiences without masks and social distancing.
As a school community we continue to be vigilant. Therefore, at all times we endeavour to keep our school safe. We would like to draw your attention to the road safety outside our school.
Our school and our children are only as safe as the behaviour of the adults using the roads, so please adhere to the following:
· If you drive your child to school, park carefully so that your child can leave and enter the car on the footpath side away from traffic.
· Do not park at the pedestrian crossing to drop your child at any time.
· When using the one way drop off zone, allow your child/ren to get out of the car and then move on to allow the flow of traffic.
· Do not drop your child off in front of the school barrier or in front of the drop off zone. This is extremely dangerous. There is ample parking and a drop off zone to accommodate parents and keep our children safe.
· As you drive, always slow down as you approach the school and particularly the pedestrian crossing.
DO NOT DO A U TURN AT THE DROP OFF AREA AND HAVE KIND REGARD FOR ALL CHILDREN’S SAFETY.
