Spooktacular Halloween in St. Patricks' NS
A very spooktacular day was had in our school on Friday, 25th October.  There were witches and wizards as far as the eye could see for our "Witchety Walk" fundraiser. Unfortunately, the weather was inclement so the exercise had to be taken in our school hall instead of outside, but everyone had a very enjoyable day regardless.
The amazing sum of €2,230 was raised towards a bicycle rack for the school.
We would really like to thank all who supported this  fantastic event so generously, all of the staff at St. Patricks' who participated so enthusiastically, our 6th Class students who helped out on the day and were so kind to the younger children. Special thanks also to our wonderful Parents Association who hosted individual parties for each class and made a huge effort to help ensure the success of the day.
As promised, the class who raised the highest average amount per child, won the pizza party on the day.
The winning class was Fourth Class and their teacher, Ms Birch.
Needless to say, they were very happy indeed.
There was also some lovely raffle prizes which were won by Hugh Keane, (JI) Kayla Doyle, (S.I.), Lorcan Britton (First Class) Ciaran Brennan (Second Class) Clodagh Fitzpatrick, (Third Class), Enda Byrne, (Fourth Class), Kayleigh Harte, (Fifth Class) and Joseph Gibbons, (Sixth Class)
