INTEL YOUNG SCIENTISTS COMPETITION
Our 4th, 5th and 6th classes participated in the Intel Young Scientists Competition. The children and their teachers prepared their projects for several weeks which were finally judged on Friday, 25th November by three representatives from Intel. The judges were very impressed by the standard of our projects and had a very difficult decision in selecting the winners. There was a prize in each class as follows but all the pupils received a goodie bag for their efforts.
Luke Walsh from 5th Class for his project on "Why a boat floats?"
Rory Gavin and Bailey Byrne from 4th Class for their project on "Mould"
Dawn Cheasty, Holly Geaney and Julia Sibbald for their project on "Happy Hydroponics"
