The Government has issued updated guidance to help schools operate the School Meals Programme amid the extended Covid-
This is a scheme which has been running in St Patrick’s NS for the past few years and has been offered to all pupils. Each pupil has received a daily snack comprising of a piece of fruit/ rice cake/popcorn or juice/raisins.
Through the School Meals fund, we now have the capacity to help those who need support in providing food for their family in these unprecedented times.
Distribution Arrangements
St Patrick’s NS will liaise with local organisations in a bid to distribute these provisions to families efficiently and effectively.
Contact for Programme
If your family would like support for food provisions, please email rathvilly.ns@gmail.com. Your request will be dealt with confidentially.

Just in case you have exhausted the online resources already provided, please click here for some brand new websites. There is lots of choice and variety so hopefully there is something of interest for everyone. These are additional resources that the children may or may not like to engage in at some stage while our school remains closed.
For any of our avid readers,we have also added a link to view free Collins Big Cat readers on the original resources list below.
Online Resources for Parents and Children
Please see below a variety of resources that have been sourced from other agencies (e.g. HSE, AsIAm) that might prove to be of use as we try and help our young people cope with the demands they face. Just click on whichever link is of interest to you.
The materials are aimed at a variety of ages, abilities, developmental stages and levels of need. Please take some time to explore these resources and see which ones might be best suited to your own circumstances and feel free to circulate and share with families/students/colleagues.
