St. Patricks NS  Virtual Christmas Concert
Please click here to view our very special Christmas Concert.
Well done to all of the children and their teachers who put so much effort into practicing and performing in the concert.
Special thanks to Catheriona Joyce from the Rathvilly Community Development Group who co-ordinated the whole project and did an amazing job.
Thanks also to Carlow County Development Programme for their support in the creation of this concert.

"Christmas Jumper Day" and Santa!
It was a very busy day in St. Patricks' NS on Friday, 18th December.  All of the children and staff wore a Christmas jumper to help raise funds for Crumlin Children's Hospital which was organised by the PTA. There was great excitement and the children were delighted showing off their jumpers and outfits.
It was a dark, windy and rainy morning but thanks to a socially distanced visit from Santa Claus, St. Patricks' NS brightened up.  The children from Junior Infants to Sixth Class were delighted to receive a lovely gift from Santa and his wonderful helper (Mrs Joyce) who both did an amazing job and made everyone smile.
Special thanks to all the staff who helped out and the PTA for all their support in organising and sponsoring the gifts the children received.
Your efforts were very much appreciated!

"CHRISTMAS DOOR" COMPETITION WINNERS

A MYSTERY GUEST!!
Some of our Junior Infants pupils are pictured here checking out a mystery guest in our school this week.
There have been a few sightings around the grounds but this individual is under quite intense surveillance by all of the classes.
However, it could be that our guest is keeping an eye on us too!

Christmas Door Competition!
There was some pretty stiff competition in St. Patricks' NS with each class decorating the door of their classroom with a festive theme.
The overall winner was the First Class door.
Highly commended went to Second Class, Fourth Class and Ms. Murray's door.
Well done everyone.
